Cameron (He/Him) & Jenna (She/Her) Settles – Wadeview Park
We moved to Florida from Ohio eight years ago, and this District has since become our home. We’ve spent all eight years in the SoDo/Wadeview Park area and love it. We love the growing, diverse food scene. We love the parks and public spaces. And most importantly, we love the community.
We’ll never forget the moment we knew this place was our home; when we saw the community come together at the Michigan Street OneBlood after Pulse. From truck beds full of water, to businesses sending food, to a line that stretched as far as you could see, the scene that day showed the love in this community in the wake of tragedy.
We both voted for Anna in 2018, but our admiration for her rose to new heights throughout this year. Anna has been a leader in fighting for the economic relief Floridians need. Anna has been an ally in advocating for justice and defending Floridian’s right to peaceful protest. And Anna has been an innovator in using social media to directly inform and interact with her constituents.
We couldn’t be prouder to be supporting Anna again this year, and we can’t wait to see her continue to fight the good fight in Tallahassee.
