Orlando, FL: In celebration of Nowruz, the Persian New Year, a free, family-friendly cultural event will be hosted on Saturday, April 12th at the Orlando Museum of Art. This special program is presented in collaboration with the Ismaili Council, the City of Orlando’s Office of Multicultural Affairs, the Orlando Museum of Art, and the Office of State Representative Anna V. Eskamani.

Nowruz, which means “New Day” in Persian, falls on the spring equinox and is celebrated by millions around the world. The event will highlight the beauty and significance of this holiday through cultural displays, music, art, and activities for all ages.
