Dear Friend,

2024 has been another year of challenges and triumphs. Through it all, we’ve been humbled to stand by your side, and we hope that wherever you are, the spirit of the season finds you surrounded by peace, love, and joy.

Growing up in a working-class immigrant family here in Orlando gave me holiday memories that I carry with me to this day. From our small but perfect Christmas tree to our Dad using complimentary Disney tickets he received via working there on the weekends to enjoy the magical light displays, or visiting my grandparents in South Florida and watching my Mom take a rare, well-deserved break from her job at K-Mart—these are the simple, beautiful moments that define the season for me.

The holidays remind us who and what we’re fighting for: the people we love and the moments that matter most.

This week, we celebrate not just Christmas but also Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, and other meaningful holidays that bring light and unity to our lives. Please note that our Legislative Office will be closed today in observance of Christmas and will reopen tomorrow. Our social media channels will remain up to date, so don’t hesitate to reach out there if needed.

Wishing you and your loved ones a safe, joyful holiday season and a hopeful start to 2025.

Warmly,
