Dear Friend,

Due to the impact of Hurricane Milton in our state, we’ve canceled our campaign canvassing for this weekend and will instead host a neighbor-to-neighbor virtual phone bank to check in with community members and see what support is needed post-Milton.

You can sign up to join us via the link here. You can join us from everywhere and we’ll provide a training at the top of the call, too.

We’ve also teamed up with Congressman Maxwell Frost to host volunteer debris pickup events! Yesterday we helped to pick up debris for several community members across Orange County and we’ll be doing the same again tomorrow.

You can RSVP here and via the link below.

As a reminder, we activated our Constituent Assistance link. If you need assistance with picking up yard debris, or need anything at all and live in House District 42 please fill out this form.

If you do not live in HD42, we can work to find other folks and organizations to help.

Many folks have asked us about FEMA and when individual assistance will be made available. Today, Governor DeSantis made a request to the federal government for a major disaster declaration and individual assistance, which will lead to FEMA opening up applications. We will share the link as soon as we know it is available.

Thank you for trusting us to serve, and let us know how we can support you and your loved ones.

In service,
