Established on April 22, 1970, Earth Day reminds us of the importance of protecting and advocating for our planet. From our wetlands to our wildlife that makes Central Florida special, Earth day reminds us of our collective responsibility to protect them. Team Anna encourages everyone to stay grateful for the Earth we share and to be mindful of the ways we can continue caring for it. Step outside, enjoy the sunshine, and find new ways to celebrate the 55th anniversary of Earth Day! 🌎🌱
Over the years, District 42 has shown incredible dedication to protecting our environment and supporting sustainability efforts across our region. Our volunteers and community partners have worked tirelessly to keep our neighborhoods vibrant and resilient, and Earth Day is a perfect moment to honor that collective effort.Â
We invite you to discover how you can get involved in Earth Day events throughout the district and connect with the many local organizations working to make a difference. Every action counts, and together we can continue building a more sustainable future for our community. Check out the list below for events celebrating Earth Day in House District 42, along with local organizations you can support and uplift.Â
