ORLANDO, FL: Families, educators, healthcare providers, and community members are invited to a town hall on vaccines and public health, hosted by Representative Dr. Anna V. Eskamani and partners. With state and federal leaders pushing to eliminate school vaccine requirements and spreading misinformation about standard medical practices, this event will provide accurate, evidence-based information about what’s at stake for children and communities.
This event will:
- Inform & Educate: Provide facts from medical experts about the science, safety, and importance of vaccines.
- Debunk Misinformation: Clarify common myths and explain what proposed policy changes could mean for families and schools.
- Highlight Impact: Examine how removing vaccine requirements would affect children, parents, educators, and vulnerable populations.
- Elevate Voices: Feature a community Q&A with parents, educators, and health leaders.
- Mobilize Action: Share tools and next steps for advocating for evidence-based health policies in Florida.
