I’m proud to endorse my dear friend and trusted colleague Felipe Sousa-Lazaballet in his campaign to succeed me as the next State Representative for District 42.
With term limits bringing my final year of service in 2026, it’s been a top priority to ensure our community remains in the hands of a leader who is bold, compassionate, and deeply rooted in service. Felipe is exactly that leader.
He’s spent his life fighting for working families, standing up for equity, and leading with heart and integrity. I can’t think of anyone more prepared to carry this torch forward and keep District 42 moving in the right direction.
That’s why it’s critical I share this with you: a MAGA Republican has already filed to run against Felipe. This only underscores how high the stakes are — and how urgent it is for all of us to rally behind Felipe’s campaign.
We can’t afford to let our community fall into the hands of extremists. Felipe is the clear choice to continue the progress we’ve made and fight for a future that puts people first. Now more than ever, he needs our support.
