State Representatives Eskamani, Joseph, Woodson, Lopez, and Aristide to Denounce Discriminatory Policy and Highlight Personal & Community Impact
Orlando, FL — In response to the reinstatement and expansion of a federal travel ban by former President Donald Trump, Florida State Representatives Dr. Anna V. Eskamani, Dotie Joseph, Marie Woodson, Johanna Lopez and Wallace Aristide will host a press conference to denounce the harmful policy and uplift the voices of communities directly impacted.
The newly announced travel ban targets 19 countries—many with large diaspora communities in Florida—and has already sparked outrage for its discriminatory roots, human cost, and constitutional concerns.
