I’m sad to report that the Republican Party of Florida is at it again, this time spreading lies by placing all of our nation’s economic challenges squarely on me.
That’s right — apparently, I am so omnipotent as a member of the Minority Caucus in the supermajority Republican State House that I have personally increased all costs in the Sunshine State.
Jokes aside, you can see the attack mail they sent to constituents over the weekend below.
As ridiculous as this attack ad is, it does provide me with an opportunity to not only call it out as a lie but to remind folks of our bipartisan work in passing a permanent tax break on children’s diapers and adult incontinence products.
We’re focused on putting money back in your pocket. And are fighting against the same corporations funding my opponent, who continue to dodge their state tax responsibilities and price gouge us at the same time.
Unlike my GOP opponent, I’m not funded by mega corporations or special interests. Our grassroots campaign is funded by everyday people like you, allowing us to champion consumer rights and be a voice for everyday people.
My opponent must be scared, though. This is their second attack ad, and we assume more are coming that wil become increasingly outlandish.
