In Partnership with O-Town Compost

Orlando, FL Earth Day has been celebrated globally since 1970 when Senator Gaylord Nelson of Wisconsin organized the first protests for the environment, and later that year helped to form the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to protect America’s precious ecosystems and resources. Since then, environmental concerns have become more urgent than ever in Florida, with pollution and waste affecting our everyday lives.

To mark Earth Day, Representative Anna V. Eskamani (D-42) will host a community cleanup in partnership with Representative Lavon Bracy-Davis (D-40) and O-Town Compost on Saturday, April 13th, 2024 from 9am to 11am to celebrate and take action.

Join us Saturday to celebrate Earth Day in our shared vision of a cleaner, waste-free world.
