Dear Friend,

Florida is one of just 10 states that has not yet expanded access to Medicaid. As a result, Florida ranks 47th in the nation for healthcare access and affordability, and has the 3rd highest number of uninsured people in the country. The good news is that things don’t have to stay this way, as people across the state are working together to get Medicaid expansion onto the ballot in the 2026 election!

If we succeed we can bring affordable healthcare access to more than 1.4 million Floridians.

The significance of this moment cannot be overstated. Expanding Medicaid in Florida is not just about healthcare; it’s about creating a stronger, healthier future for all of us. With the potential to create more than 130,000 new jobs and save our state’s taxpayers an estimated $200 million per year, this initiative will not only improve the health of Floridians, it will bolster our state economy as well. But we need to work together to make this happen!
