Dear Friend,
2023 has been another challenging year. But we have been humbled to be by your side every step of the way, and we hope that wherever you are, holiday cheer finds you with peace, love, and joy.
Growing up in a working class immigrant family here in Orlando offered some really sweet holiday memories that I cherish to this day. Memories like our small but perfect Christmas tree or our Dad using the complimentary tickets he got as a Disney cast member for us to see some of the light displays. Or visiting grandparents in South Florida and my Mom getting to take a few days off from her job at the local K-Mart.
It’s those little moments with our loved ones that remind us who and what we’re fighting for that make the holidays so special.
Please note that our Legislative Office will be closed in honor of the Christmas holiday today and tomorrow. We will resume operations on Wednesday morning and then be closed again this Friday in recognition of the New Year. We will keep our social media channels up to date, too.
