November marks World Vegan Month. This month we come together to recognize and celebrate veganism, and its positive impact on the earth, animals, and human health.

World Vegan Month is observed to begin on November 1st and was first established in 1994 by Louise Wallis — the Chair of the Vegan Society in the United Kingdom. It has since evolved into a worldwide celebration of veganism, highlighting its pivotal role as a more sustainable choice for the environment!

This month serves as an opportunity to spotlight the core principles of veganism, such as cruelty-free lifestyle choices, reducing our collective carbon footprint, and extending our respect to all living beings. World Vegan Month is dedicated to fostering a sense of compassion for our planet, and recognizing that adopting a vegan lifestyle is a powerful means of minimizing our ecological impact and honoring Earth’s precious resources.

As a practicing vegan herself, Representative Eskamani and her team are committed to spreading awareness around a plant-based life, and the profound impact our food choices have on our own health and the environment at large. We celebrate vegans not just in November, but all year round!
