This week the Florida Education Association (FEA), the largest association of professional employees and educators in the state of Florida, awarded Representative Anna V. Eskamani with their Champion of Public Education Award. Here is Representative Eskamani’s statement in response:
Thank you Florida Education Association for recognizing our work in supporting and enhancing public education! As a public school kid myself, I am eternally grateful to the work of our educators, support staff and administrators — both in K-12 and in higher education. Thank you for this recognition, and let’s keep fighting for high quality public education that ensure the success for all of our children.
