People Power For Florida Hosting Voter Registration Events Across the State
Orlando, FL: Tomorrow is National Voter Registration Day, and Representative Anna V. Eskamani under the banner of People Power for Florida will be hosting with her team six voter registration events across the state.
All events will be on college campuses: UCF, FIU, UF, FAMU, EFSC, and FSC.
“National Voter Registration Day is an awesome opportunity to remind Floridians about the importance of being ready and registered to vote,” said Representative Eskamani. “Our team will be on the ground doing the work to reach our newest voters, while also boosting online voter registration as an option too.”
Like other grassroots organizations, People Power for Florida has had to shift their voter registration program to fit Floria’s latest voter suppression laws. But that will not stop the organization from working to register voters and encouraging Floridians to renew their vote by mail ballots.
