I know you’re probably getting a LOT of fundraising emails right now, so instead of doing that I just wanted to say thank you.
Thank you for trusting me and our team to serve and deliver results for Florida.
I have to tell you that running for office was never one of my life goals. I grew up in a working class immigrant family. My Mom passed away when I was 13 years old, and all I really wanted to do was survive, get to college and find a job to support myself and my family.
But leadership rises in moments of uncertainty, and today we are navigating some very uncertain times.
I’ve now been in elected office for nearly five years, and am just in constant awe of the impact we can have when we stay focused and work together for the collective good.
I have no idea where this work will take us but I am grateful to have you by my side.
