Event to be Hosted in Partnership with A Gift for Teaching
Orlando, FL– With the first day of school right around the corner, Representative Eskamani is excited to announce our annual back to school supply drive hosted alongside A Gift for Teaching!
House District 42’s Back to School Drive will take place from July 5th through August 18th. Those able to make a donation can drop off items at Representative Eskamani’s District Office from 9:00am-5:00pm, Monday through Friday. We are looking for unopened #2 pencils, dry erase markers, notebooks (composition and spiral), block erasers, and loose leaf paper.
“We want to make sure that all of our teachers and students are ready for school,” said Representative Eskamani. “That’s why every year we are grateful to our community’s generosity in helping to ensure every kid in Orange County has the supplies they need to succeed.”
A Gift for Teaching is a nonprofit organization that helps students and teachers in the Orange and Osceola county area. They provide eligible teachers with free supplies, and help integrate art curriculum into low income schools. To learn more, visit agiftforteaching.org/!
