Orlando, FL – Join Representative Anna V. Eskamani (D-42) this afternoon Tuesday, May 16th from 2:00pm – 3:00pm ET for a virtual discussion to address regional opioid trends and receive a FREE narcan training from Dr. Thomas Hall, Director of Orange County’s Coalition for a Drug-Free Community.
Dr. Thomas Hall, Ph.D. oversees the Orange County Health Services Department Substance Abuse Prevention, Treatment, and Recovery initiatives. His professional experience as a clinician, researcher, and adjunct faculty spans 30 years. He has garnered over 25 years of experience providing substance abuse and mental health treatment. During the hour, Dr. Hall will provide timely updates on local opioid trends and deliver a narcan training. For those who may not know, Narcan (naloxone) can treat overdoses in emergency situations and act as a life-saving medication.
