With the two new team members comes transition with current team too
Tallahassee, FL: Today Representative Anna V. Eskamani is excited to announce two new members of her Legislative Team. Madison Clearman (she/her) will serve as District Aide and James Williams (he/him) will serve as an OPS staff to support in constituent services and public policy. Both are thrilled to be joining the legislative team!
Madison is a Central Florida local who just graduated Cum Laude from Florida Gulf Coast University with a degree in History and minor in Gender Studies. She has been with Team Anna as a Legislative Intern in the Summer of 2022 and served as the Southwest Florida Organizer for People Power For Florida during the fall semester. Madison has also served as Curator Intern at the Holocaust Museum and Cohen Education Center in Naples, Florida. She is passionate about service, and has been an active leader with Best Buddies for more than seven years and advocates for the LGBTQ+ community and reproductive health.
James Williams is a former Legislative Intern with Team Anna and an incredible advocate for local communities and a pro at constituent services. Originally from Tampa, James cares deeply about environmental protection, voting rights, and equality for all. He is currently studying political science at Florida State University.
With these two new staffers also comes transitions at Representative Eskamani’s legislative office. Lauren Cooper, who currently serves as the District Aide will be promoted to Legislative Aide, and Cheyenne Drews will be pursuing a new chapter in her professional career as an advocate and community leader.
“At Team Anna, we believe in building new leaders and embracing change,” said Representative Anna V. Eskamani. “I am so proud of our incredible team, and want to especially send my love and gratitude to Cheyenne who is not only an incredible person to work with but an awesome friend. I cannot wait to see what she does next!”
