Orlando, FL – In 1920, the 19th Amendment was ratified, granting select women the right to vote. It was a major victory towards equality and justice in the suffrage movement, yet also reflected the need for further change. Now 101 years later, we continue to break down barriers for women and girls; progress is a process that requires all of us to move the needle.

Join State Representative Anna V. Eskamani for a moderated discussion led by Vanessa Echols of WFTV. This virtual town hall will take place on August 25th at 6:00pm EST beside State Representatives Kristen Arrington, Kamia Brown, Joy Goff-Marcil, Daisy Morales, Orange County Property Appraiser Amy Mercado, and Kiley Mack of Generation Ratify offered on Zoom and Facebook Live.

A live program will be streamed at facebook.com/AnnaForFlorida. Join us for this virtual town hall on social, economic, and political issues affecting women of all backgrounds. Captions will be available in English and Spanish.
