Dear Friend,
It’s Election Day!
Critical races across the state will be decided today, including right here in Orange County.
Important offices that directly touch our everyday lives – from the sheriff and state attorney to the school board and county commission – are on the ballot, so it’s incredibly important that we all get out and vote.
I’m not on today’s ballot myself. But I have endorsed some amazing candidates who are. You can find the list of folks I’ve endorsed here.
You might have seen the recent Orlando Sentinel story about how I’m involved in races across the state, trying to elect more strong Democrats to the Florida House of Representatives – people who will fight for our public schools, protect abortion rights, reject LGBTQ+ discrimination and won’t be bought off by big corporations. It’s a good reminder of why we all need to turn out today.
You can find your polling place by clicking here. Remember that in Orange County, it is now too late to mail back your completed ballot, but you can drop it off at the Supervisor of Elections Office. You can also exchange it for an in-person ballot at your assigned polling place on Election Day. Learn more here.
If you don’t live in Orange County, you can click here to visit your local County website.
So put on your mask, wash your hands, bring your ID, and vote! And don’t forget to thank a poll worker while you’re there.
Onward,
Rep. Anna V. Eskamani
