Orlando, FL– Representative Anna V. Eskamani has earned a 2020 endorsement from Equality Florida Action PAC, the state’s leading LGBTQ rights organization.
“I am proud to be an accomplice to the LGBTQ community, and will always fight unapologetically for equality in our state,” said Representative Eskamani. “The freedom to marry who you love and live life as your authentic self are critical to our American values, and that’s why we must pass equal protection legislation and ban conversion therapy in Florida.”
The first bill Representative Eskamani filed as a freshman lawmaker was the repeal of DOMA, and this year she has filed legislation to ban LGBTQ discrimination in any school that receives public funds.
