Orlando, FL — Democratic candidate for Florida House District 47 Anna V. Eskamani has earned the endorsement of Florida National Organization for Women PAC.
“Florida NOW PAC is thrilled to endorse Anna Eskamani for the Florida House District 47. Anna’s drive, talent, and passion shines in every endeavor she undertakes. Florida NOW and Planned Parenthood have formed a cohesive team, in large part due to Anna’s commitment to ensuring all Floridians have full access to reproductive health care. She will be a positive addition to the legislature,” said Terry Sanders, President of Florida NOW PAC.
Anna is known across the state and nation as an advocate for women’s rights. Whether it be equal work for equal pay, prevention of violence against women, or the efficacy of girls, Anna has played a leading part in advocating for women and girls, while holding politicians accountable to that standard. In fact, Anna has been one of the only Democrats holding members of her own party accountable to cases of sexual misconduct and harassment.
“I am honored to have the support of Florida NOW PAC as it speaks to my life’s work of empowering women and girls,” said Anna. “There is a culture of abuse that infests Tallahassee, not just in agenda-setting for policymaking, but also in the treatment of female interns, legislative staff, and lobbyists. I am committed to pushing forward policies that prioritize the health, safety and success of women, and I remain laser-focused on holding government accountable, ensuring that all women — including those who work in the Capitol — can live a life free from harassment and assault.”
