Representative Eskamani is proud to announce that her bill HB29 has been included in the final version of Florida’s Tax Package which will soon be signed into law by Governor Ron DeSantis. This bill will permanently eliminate Florida’s sales tax on children’s diapers and adult incontinence products.
This will save Florida families upward of $100,000 annually and will help make Florida’s regressive tax structure less regressive. We must do more to ease the financial burdens faced by Florida families but this is a step in the right direction and an important accomplishment.
