Tallahassee, FL: Today the Florida House passed House Bill 7063, a bipartisan tax package that includes Representative Eskamani’s House Bill 29, a bill to permanently eliminate Florida’s sales tax on children’s diapers and adult incontinence products. Here is Representative Eskamani’s statement:
“I am absolutely thrilled that the Florida House’s tax package includes a permanent tax break on children’s diapers and adult incontinence products. This is a policy goal that we have championed for years, and I am grateful for the support of my colleagues and for the bipartisan leadership on eliminating this regressive tax on what are essential items that our families need.”
