Today House Bill 543 will be heard in its first committee stop, Constitutional Rights, Rule of Law & Government Operations Subcommittee.
This bill, known as permitless carry, is dangerous. It goes against the will of law enforcement, Florida voters, and public safety experts who know this bill will only exacerbate gun violence and make it easier for dangerous people to carry a gun in our communities.
This committee meeting will be the bill’s first step in becoming a law. Can you contact each committee member before 2:00pm today and demand that they vote NO on HB543? All you have to do is click on each committee member, then click on “Contact Member,” and write them a note or call their office.
