Friday night I joined Chris Hayes on MSNBC to talk about Governor DeSantis and his extreme anti-abortion agenda. We also talked about my past work at Planned Parenthood, and what it’ll take to fight back against a GOP super-majority in Tallahassee.
Our effort has to be an outside-inside strategy. Meaning we won’t always be able to influence the votes in the chambers, but we can absolutely build political awareness and efficacy outside the legislature to mobilize Floridians longterm
In January we have two events that I want to make sure you are invited to join us for. One is a virtual event centered on setting the stage for abortion rights in Florida. Scheduled for Monday, January 2nd from 6-7:00pm, you can learn more and RSVP here.
The second is part of a National Abortion March. Scheduled for January 22nd, we are marching in Orlando to remind Tallahassee politicians where we stand when it comes to abortion access. Learn more and spread the word here.
