Drews was Eskamani’s 2020 Campaign Manager and 2018 Field Organizer
Orlando, FL— Representative Anna V. Eskamani is excited to welcome Cheyenne Drews to serve as the Legislative Aide for State House District 47.
Born and raised in Volusia County, Drews is no stranger to public service. She graduated from the University of Central Florida (UCF) in 2017 and soon began volunteering with local nonprofits and advocacy groups. She served as the Operations Supervisor for the Mothers’ Milk Bank of Florida for two years and first met Representative Eskamani through her reproductive rights work. In 2018, she was a Field Organizer for Eskamani’s first campaign and in 2020 was her Campaign Manager, managing over 500 volunteers and securing a decisive victory for the freshman lawmaker.
“Like many around me, I have found both a unique purpose and a home with the people of Team Anna,” stated Drews. “I am humbled with the responsibility to serve as Legislative Aide for Representative Eskamani and to continue showing up for Floridians with compassion, commitment, and resilient joy.”
“House District 47 has always been lucky to have someone like Cheyenne as their advocate,” added Representative Eskamani. “Her organizing skills coupled with her deep understanding of Florida’s policy landscape and compassion for everyday people make her the perfect fit for this role, and I am thrilled to welcome her as our new Legislative Aide!”
